Changing to a new domain can be a tedious process which should not be taken lightly. Usually, people avoid changing their website’s domain name due to the risk of a sudden drop in traffic and income. The need to change the domain name for your website may arise for many reasons such as poor domain choice in the first place, change in name or focus of the business, a better-suited domain being available now, or even damaged reputation. Though there would be many negatives but a change in the domain name if done correctly may be beneficial for your business in the long run.
